360 Event Design

An event planner with a passion for food, art, service, and providing a superb experience for attendees and anyone else involved in her spectacular events.

Since this wasn't your average "planner" we had to come up with a site that showcased the interests and skills of the exceptional staff, making sure that all of the areas were properly called out and easy to navigate without getting lost in the sheer volume of content available to interested users.

RSS feeds automatically importing relevant information were added to enhance the readers experience and add to the amount of information available. An additional and non-standard to the CMS blogging component was added to make the blogging experience more seemless and easy.

Shitheadery

The site was designed as a “news site” with tons of content from several of contributing writers. Each category has its own menu item and section. The front page is populated automatically and dynamically based on the age or popularity of the article.

Out of cynicism and frustration was born shitheadery.com (pronounced shi-they-duh-ree).

The goal was to create a platform to highlight modern sophistry, intellectual dishonesty, social hypocrisy, smug attitudes of entitlement, and occasionally simple bad manners. The contributing writers call their families, strangers, neighbors, communities, leaders, and occasionally themselves to task for acts of shitheadery.

The site was designed as a “news site” with tons of content from several of contributing writers. Each category has its own menu item and section. The front page is populated automatically and dynamically based on the age or popularity of the article.

The Clusterzine area is a magazine component that is filled with relevant news items. The authors each have their own page and there’s a module to the right of any given article that displays the latest article by the author of the current article.

Unlike many "blog" sites that can only show a small amount of of the latest few articles and posts, this site shows visitors the volume of articles available.

Go the the Site.

The site has a Google rating of 4 and 10,000 twitter followers.

Shamanic Healing

Shamanichealingboston.com is the web site of a Boston based Shamanic Healer. She needed a site that would showcase her services and abilities. She also wanted a section of the site dedicated to blogging about the advantages and intricacies of shamanic healing.

Shamanichealingboston.com is the web site of a Boston based Shamanic Healer. She needed a site that would showcase her services and abilities. She also wanted a section of the site dedicated to blogging about the advantages and intricacies of shamanic healing.

It was important that the site not be hokey and portray the art with respect.

The sliders and folds on the front of the site display the primary services and philosophy of natural and spiritual healing.

I highly recommend Richard and Zombeck.com. I work in energetic healing and coaching, a field sometimes seen as a bit enigmatic. I wanted a professional site that would attract businesses and individuals ready to take on significant changes in their lives.

Richard took the time to learn the specifics of my field and, using his strong talent in web design and development, created what I consider an outstanding site. Richard found a way to achieve all of my requests and guided me in the right direction when that was needed. He finds a way to make your ideas, whether they are general or specific, come to life

Other designers I’ve worked with insisted on charging me a fee for any changes or additions to a site. Richard not only designed the site, but then worked with me to be sure I understood how the software worked. I’m able to make changes, add pages, and articles myself. Richard has been available whenever needed and was constantly in touch. He is continually thinking of ways to make things easier for me.

He is truly committed to not just designing the best website for you, but to your success overall.

D.P. Milone

A web site for a chiropractor in Massachusetts. It was important to show the services available and provide visitors to the site with information about the practice as well as the science of chiropractic. Equally important is the site owners interest in medical news and informing the public.

The content of the site was migrated from an older web site that was outdated and provided a way for the doctor to provide regular updates.

Some of the content still resides on the old site and is shown in iframe pop-ups on this site. The site has a small slide show of the facilities, a video pop-up of the doctor that also appears on Youtube, mp3s that the doctor records live and showcases on the site, and regular news stories that feed to his Facebook page.

The site was designed with healing, content, and information in mind.

If you are looking to get a web site or wanting to update your site to a more modern style Richard Zombeck is the man to call. The guy is a wizard when it comes to this stuff.

In my case, the process was simple. We talked on the phone; he examined my old site and transferred the content to a new Blog Style site that is simply awesome. The site has been up only a short time and I’m already getting compliments and inquiries on who put it together.

What I especially like about it is the ease to which I can add content myself. Although Richard is happy to manage a site for those who are too busy, he is eager to get you up and running so you can update it and add content yourself with ease. His animated instructional PDF’s are remarkable!

Another great thing is his support! I swear he’s wired in his sleep. When the site first went live there were things I wanted changed. An email to him ricocheted back so fast I couldn’t believe it. And the fix followed shortly thereafter.

This Geek also knows the ins and outs about Google so there is no worry as far as getting your site to appear at the top of the search list or getting your site statistics through Google Analytics.

I can’t say enough good things about Zombeck. And I am obviously thrilled with my new site. So…if it’s time to get on the web or you need a new site, give this dude a call. You won’t be sorry.

Pamela Joye Photography

Go to the Site.

PamelaJoye.com was designed for a photographer specializing in home portraits and pets. She needed a site that displayed both these specialities and her artistry.

Due to the varied and differing topics of the photographs, a unique site was needed in order to guide visitors to specific areas of the site.

The site was designed with a landing page to offer visitors three unique areas: two sections showcasing different areas of expertise and a third for the blog. Each area has its own self-contained menu, slide shows, product line, and portfolio.

Breadcrumbs allow the visitors to navigate back through the areas as well as to the main page. The site is also equipped with a Search Engine Friendly URLs, easily configured slide shows, and blogging capabilities.

The Buttered Side

This site is a "mommyblog" like no other mommy blog. The mommy who blogs has a particular snarkiness and sarcasm. She's a fantastic writer and manages to pull you along in her daily ramblings and observations of what she goes as a mother, wife, daughter, and observer.

She had a site that she wasn't happy with. While her humor is not exactly light, she wanted a blog that looked slightly chaotic. While I'm not a big fan of desktop and notebook sites, ie sites that look like notebooks and desks. I relented to her requests and came up with this.

I sought out Richard Zombeck’s help because I needed someone with experience who could design a unique looking website that was user friendly and easy to manage. Richard worked tirelessly from beginning to end and maintained an excellent line of communication with me every step of the way to ensure that his ideas were matching my vision.

He was very diligent with designing a site that truly reflected my style with custom images and background, as well as ensuring that the layout and function would appeal to my target audience. I am thrilled with the finished product and the fact that I am able to easily manage the content. He is creative, flexible, thorough, and possesses excellent technical skills. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for interactive web design and consultation.
