Okay, so I still got to bed at 3:00 AM, but I went to bed happy.
Understandably it's still the honeymoon and considering most of Microsoft's products are released with thousands of bugs and they're probably already working on the next service pack I'm somewhere between complete adulation and waiting for the other shoe to drop.
All products went in without a hitch. Adobe stuff, same hacks and tweaks. I got my background set up and fooled around with some the Aero stuff. It's all very nice and slightly Mac like. Not a bad thing by any means, just wondering what took them so long to figure that out. The missing component from Windows, for me, has always been a sense of usability - intuitive design as it were.
There's going to be a learning curve and I'm not quite sure how I feel about the task bar look or the Libraries, but time will tell.
I downloaded the latest nVidia driver from nVidia and so far things are looking pretty spectacular. For someone who's normally pretty skeptical when it comes to Windoze, I'm liking the new digs.
Tonight a little COD World at War on the newly designed rig, but for now more software installation.
