Going to a web page crashed Firefox. Seriously. It didn't matter. Flash, Video, CNN, Porn, Google, Bing ... anything crashed Firefox. And every time I got this nifty little window.
Oooo, thanks a lot. Any way after scouring the intertubes for days and coming up with nothing particularly helpful I stated fishing around. I don't remember where I found it. I think it might have been on one of the Microsoft forums, since at one point I was blaming Microsoft and Windows 7. I tried Chrome for a change and it crashed too, so who else could it be but Microsoft?

Turns out, again, it was nVidia and their extra crap.

The nVidia ForceWare NEtwork Access Manager pile of steaming crap was to blame.
Unistalled the thing and voila. No more Firefox crashes. nVidia needs to concentrate on graphics cards and leave the rest to the big boys. Every pirce of software they install automagically causes problems. This thing and their NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D Driver which was the source of agravation in an earlier post.
Here's another post on Firefox crashes in case nVidia has nothing to do with it.
