Removing the Arrow on Shortcuts in Windows 7

>Windows 7, while very slick still has that annoying arrow on shortcuts. It's definately a good thing to see that you have a short cut but in some cases it's too big and quite frankly a bit ugly .

You can use the Vista Shortcut Overlay Manager (it works in Windows 7) to change the image on the shortcuts or remove them completely.

I changed mine to look like the one in the image below, but you can specify any icone you want to use in it's place.

Just download the application here, run it, make a selection, and click Apply.

You'll have to log off and log back on for the changes to take effect.
