The Blizzard of 2026

I was out in this insanity, shoveling and snow blowing the driveway. While I was clearing the front of the house, I saw the neighbors house across the street. It looked so cool, I wanted a picture. The problem was that my camera isn’t weatherproof and I hadn’t received the cover I ordered. I decided to grab the action cam instead. One thing led to another, and I was out filming for a little longer than I had anticipated.

I had to go out twice for this one. The first time I screwed up the settings and blew everything out. White balance was off, exposure was off. Basically, everything was off - all I got was a big 4k white screen. The second time I set mostly everything - white balance, aperture to auto and left ISO and shutter speed to manual with a -7 exposure to compensate for the snow and bright whites. I applied the default LUTs in post and then “Clean Kodak A NDR” for a look.
